Exclusive Wilson Combat engineering enables a durable, ultra-crisp trigger pull without any fine tuning or adjustment. Reduced, positive trigger reset guarantees a quick follow up shot on target. The unique hammer geometry enhances reliable ignition with military and surplus ammunition of all types while a 1911 style half-cock notch allows the TTU to meet or exceed military specifications for drop safety. Pre-assembled, CNC machined trigger housing contains H13 heat-treated trigger, hammer, sear and a stainless steel spring for trouble-free installation. Bullet Proof designed and extensively tested by shooters for shooters, the new Tactical Trigger Unit has raised the bar for drop-in AR triggers.
Wilson Combat AR-15 Tactical Trigger units will reliably function in any standard USGI style AR style lower receiver with standard GI trigger pins of .154” diameter regardless of caliber, including 7.62/.308 length AR receivers.
Because of the short, fast reset of the TTU, always use a firm grip and solid hold when shooting from the bench or prone to ensure that bump firing does not occur.
"The Wilson Combat "Paul Howe" 2-stage trigger meets tactical needs for the operator and surgical interdiction specialist providing a safe and reliable trigger that can be installed in minutes. This trigger also meets FBI recommendations for surgical rifles (3.5 pounds or greater pull )."-Paul Howe

Once again WC delivers on a collaboration | 4/29/2023 |
I'm certainly glad I like this trigger enough to not have any desire to remove it from the rifle because the pin retaining springs inside the trigger body are stiff as hell. Needed to swap out my gunsmithing mallet for a whole 2.5lb claw hammer to knock the pins out when I needed wiggle room to fit the selector switch. The uptake on the first stage of the trigger is smooth as butter. The second stage is so clean a transition you almost don't know what to feel for at first. Plan to order another to be a place holder trigger incase someone side-eyes my other rifle because of the FRT I have in it.

Would not line up with hole. Had to use sledge hammer to get pins all the way through after 2hrs of trying to install trigger

TTU-M2 and TTU-H2 triggers | 9/13/2019 |
I've built at least ten lowers! They all have 2 stage Wilson Combat TTU triggers! I'm an engineer so I analyze everything mechanical or electrical that I buy. These triggers do not retrograde when you pull the trigger! The sears are on a srem on the back of the hammer! A brilliant design! Let off is like breaking a glass rod with absolutely no perceptible trigger movement! Concentration is on the target and not on when is the rifle going to fire. So, there's nothing else to say other than the pins neither roll, walk or wear on your receiver! Best bang for my buck, or, yours!

I have 2 of the gen 1 triggers. That is just the trigger, hammer, disconnect, springs and pins. I have one in my swat firearms 5.56 and one in my 308 build. Both triggers are a dream to shoot. Both have that right there reset. I have not had a lot of experience with the other trigger sets. But to me this is as good as it gets. I think I will replace the one in my 308 build with the Paul Howe set. Put the other one back in my sharps 25/45/ 300 ham’r setup.

A different league | 12/8/2014 |
In the market for custom triggers, there are alot of choices. This trigger unit is a cut above the other premium triggers in my opinion. I was really impressed with this unit. After using the proper lube and dryfiring into a hammer block used to test trigger function..installs in mag well..I was amazed at the smoothness after only 10-15 dryfires, range time coming soon.

Excellent replacement trigger group | 4/24/2014 |
The trigger is very smooth with a clean break. Like other Wilson items it has excellent quality. Maybe a skilled gunsmith could do this change in 2 minutes but it took me about 15-20 due to having to loosen the safety to get the old trigger group out. Overall though, the Wilson TTU went it without a hitch. Would definitely recommend this TTU.
