Powder residue, lead and bullet lubrication can get packed in your barrel's chamber, which can cause feeding and extraction malfunctions. Unfortunately, your .38 or 9mm bore brush is the wrong diameter and usually too soft to remove chamber contamination.
You need a Wilson "Chamber Cleaning Tool". This tough little tool has a sturdy Delrin handle and very stiff nylon bristles to thoroughly clean your chamber. If you own a .38 Super or 9mm handgun you need this little tool. Nylon brush is hard enough to remove stubborn fouling without damaging your barrel.
Base is interchangable with the 803-45 brush line.

|Effective but it has a concerning flaw...||12/30/2021|
|I tried the chamber cleaning tool literally 5 minutes after I received it. The construction is solid, the nylon bristles are very strong. The only thing that really is a detriment to this tool is the material used for the core (to hold the bristles). The core is ferromagnetic, leading me to suspect it is a low-grade stainless steel. I NEVER use anything steel on my barrel. The gauge of the steel is pretty hefty too, and when testing it out some portions of the core made contact with the barrel--and I was being gentle with it. This would have been a great tool if WC used brass, or nylon-coated steel, of a smaller gauge for the core.|
