Detailed Description

With Precision Holsters passion for innovative design, together we bring you the Wilson Combat Ultra Appendix Holster Signature Series with our Exclusive Carbon Fiber Pattern and Wilson Combat Medallion.   With the multiple angles found in the Negative Angle Platform TM, they were able to tuck the grip of the firearm closer to the body for a high level of concealment.  This platform allows them to maintain a minimalist design which adds in the overall comfort for the appendix carry position. The angled thigh pad on the back side has contoured edges and a thigh relief cut these features eliminates pressure points commonly found in appendix holsters.

Comfort, Concealment, Quality and above all Functional the Ultra Appendix is packed with cutting edge features not traditional found in Kydex Holsters.

What to expect?

  • Negative Angle Platform TM; this platform found on the front of the holster adds a tucking pressure to pull the butt of the gun towards the body, which aids in the level of concealment value.
  • Two-belt clip system provides stability while building your grip and assists in weapon retention.
  • Front overhang ledge for one handed charging of firearm.
  • 4 points of adjustable retention.
  • Angled thigh pad on back with rounded edges to provide comfort.
  • Thigh relief cut on non-light baring models for additional appendix carry comfort.
  • Proper ride height to allow for a full grip purchase of the firearm.
  • Fits Both Railed & Non-Railed EDC X9S
  • Cut, Sewn and Assembled in the U.S.A.

NOTE-Kydex and other polymers are excellent materials for a fast and secure holster but any molded or formed polymer holster will cause damage/wear to any firearms finish due to friction from molding, abrasive grit from the holster making process or dust and grit embedded in the holster from range use. Over time, grit embeds in the soft polymer and will cause deep scratches if your holsters are not kept clean. A silicone rag is good for this purpose.

Great potential, but poor execution!
At first, I was rather surprised at the great build quality, finishing, and material selection for this holster. It is honestly built like a dream. However, it does have some design flaws for being an appendix holster. 1) The angled belt clips are reversed. The inner clip is highly rotated, and should not be, whereas the outer clip is flat, but should be rotated. For true appendix carry (1oclock), this pushes the grip of the gun away from your body. 2) The outer belt clip (further from your buckle) is too close to the holster itself. I attempted to rectify this by using a longer screw and spacers to set it out, which causes the holster to rotate the grip into your body, leading to better concealment (similar to a wing). This should have been done from the factory. 3) The holster is angled incorrectly. When mounted to a belt, the muzzle points into your body and the grip side pushes out of the body. This also reduces concealment. There is a wedge-like protrusion on the bottom inside of the holster, but it is insufficient to prevent printing of the grip/beaver tail. 4) There is virtually no adjustment to the clips. You have to drill/replace/reposition yourself to get the correct cant and height for your particular body. I managed to do this, but am still not satisfied with the result. Overall, if the holster was more adjustable, and the clip locations were modified (setting out the outer clip and adjusting rotations), this would be a 5-star holster. But the lack of adjustment and design decisions, even after heavy modification, cause the tiny edc x9s to still print heavily on me. I should have returned before trying to fix the flaws, now it's drilled up and modified so I'm stuck with a holster that prints heavily for such a small and easily concealable gun. For reference, I'm 6'4 and slim. I typically don't have issues concealing stacatto C2s and C2 Duos (much larger) with the correct holster.
