Our Bullet-Proof Recoil Spring Plug is precision CNC machined from 316 stainless steel bar stock for maximum durability. The end of the plug features concentric rings for a sleek look that the bushing / bushing wrench will not mar during assembly and/or disassembly.
Recoil Spring Plugs are easy to lose during disassembly and your gun won’t run without one, so it’s always good to have a spare on hand.

|Looks great, and I had to shorten it to go with the compensator. It was scary cut such a nice piece of engineering but after I was done it worked great.|

|Bought this to compliment my new flat wire Kit on my ria 1911 fs tactical and I love it! Its so much easier to break this down than with the plug that came with the stock full length guide rod and looks great against the black....... Now on to more wc products!|

|Bought one of these a few months back to convert my Springfield Operator full-length guide rod back into a G.I. style. Looks and performs great. Loved it to the point where when a friend sent it flying off the spring into the vast unknown of a shell case covered range floor, I bought two more.|
|Bought a couple to go with the stainless bushing in my Wilson modified Colt and Springfield TRP. Fit was perfect and looks great! Highly recommended for a great look and reliability.|

|Fits and looks great on a Ruger SR1911||2/22/2013|
|Absolutely beautiful upgrade to the SR1911 over the stock version.|
|Nice replacement piece, but FYI...||4/28/2011|
|I bought this item in conjunction with #614 flat-wire spring/rod to replace the two-piece FLGR in my Springfield TRP. When I went to install the plug, the bushing absolutely would not rotate over to trap it. Research tells me the plug is approximately 0.015 too long for the TRP, but a few swipes over a flat file fixed that and this beautiful piece has taken over duties for the two-piece unit. My new gun looks much better now!|

|I paired this up with a stainless Wilson barrel bushing on my blued Para. It looks great! The best thing is that I got rid of my half blued, half scratched up factory recoil spring plug. Now I dont cringe every time I field strip my weapon. This is the best add-on if you want to keep the heritage of a 1911 by not adding a full length guide rod. There was no need to alter anything, it just went right into place.|
