"Back in 1980, Bill Wilson asked me to test some of his new Wilson-Rogers .45 magazines. He explained that he felt they had solved the problem of cracked feed lips and that their new magazines fed much more reliably than any others on the market. Well, it's 30 years later now and I'm still using some of those original 6 prototype magazines that Bill sent me… Through the years they have proven without a doubt to be the most reliable and durable 1911 magazines on the market. I have personally used specimens from various production runs through the years and have yet to see any quality variation or have one let me down in any way. They are my first and only choice as well as the choice of the elite special forces units I train. I trust my life to a Wilson Combat® pistol and 8-round Wilson magazines; so can you…"

Disassembly / Maintenance Instructions

Our magazine tubes have a lifetime satisfaction policy. Wilson Combat will replace any magazine tube that spreads, cracks or becomes unusable during normal use. Wilson Combat magazine springs and followers are considered consumable items and may require replacing after extensive use. Polymer baseplates can break if you drop a loaded magazine on a hard surface. We recommend metal baseplates for hard use.

The ONLY 1911 Magazines Worth Running
Wilson Combat makes wonderful magazines! This is the only magazine type that I run through my 1911. These magazines are reliable, robust, and offer a larger capacity than the factory Dan Wesson magazines.
Fixed Loading Issue on Springfield TRP RMR 10mm
My brand new Springfield Armory 1911 TRP RMR 10mm pistol shipped brand new from the manufacturer. Using their factory mags, I had terrible misfeeds which were confirmed by my local gunsmith (S&B FMJ would not feed whatsoever; Sig Sauer FMJ not quite as bad as S&B; Federal American Eagle FMJ was even better, but still ~20% misfeed rate). After ~450 rounds through it, I was a experiencing a little less than 10% misfeeds with Federal AE; didn't even try S&B. Fed up after 457 rounds through my new pistol, I sent it back to Springfield who did some minor work (refit the extractor, cut/polished the feed ramp, polished the chamber, safety checked/tested), and said it was now AOK (on a brand new pistol, eh?). They also left substantial metal shavings behind that I had to clear. Back to the range, and I experienced intermittent misfeed problems (enough that I almost sent it back to Springfield again). I had heard a few shooters say that replacing the factory mags with Wilson Combat mags might solve the problem, so I got myself two WC mags, and that left me with ZERO misfeed problems with any ammo I ran through it (FMJ or HP) - S&B, Sig Sauer, Federal, Buffalo Bore, Hornady, etc. Now up to almost 1,400 rounds and not a single misfeed issue in this pistol.
Perfect fit
It's awesome you guys can get the same demensions as my RIA 10mm. It is just as long as the stock mag it came with while still having the bonus of 1 round. I don't have any parts protruding definately ganna need a couple more and I'll be set to start carrying it.
Typical Wilson Combat Quality
Only thing I noticedi was the first 7 or 8 times I used 9 round capacity the 9th round failed to go into battery a couple of times. Now it works flawlessly. Maybe just needed breaking in
RIA Ultra TAC II loves your mags!
New RIA 10mm that I could not carry from completely unreliable mags, catch/ftf you name it. Bought a Wilson after recommended by a friend with Gemtech, works like a dream!!! Not one problem as of 400 rounds! Thank you Wilson for a superior product!
Came back for more
I have been a 1911 shooter since 1973 and carried one in Panama in 89-90. I have known for many years that the primary dependability of the 1911 is in the magazine. With my recent purchase of a Kimber, I began to research the best mags available and had to return a few that I was not comfortable with. After trying the Wilson mag, I confidently ordered more of them. They are the ones to trust.
Well-designed mags!
I bought three of the 47nx mags for my Kimber Eclipse, and the first thing that comes to mind is how well designed it is! The 47nx magazine adds an additional round over the included mag from Kimber, bringing the count to 9 rounds, thank you! The design has the indent on one side, as opposed to other 10mm mags that have the indent on both sides--it works! Interestingly, the 47nx can also be used with .40s&w. So far, Ive fired 400 rounds with no issues to report, using Double-Tap ammo. I worked at a shooting range where we get all sorts of 10mm 1911s, and I tested these magazines on a Dan Wesson CBob. The included mag with the CBob was having problems just getting past the mag release, but with the 47nx, the magazine load snugly and smoothly. A great testament to this design! Im hoping an ETM version will appear, but I am very satisfied with the 47nx.
