For the new EDC X9 pistol we have collaborated with Milt Sparks Holsters to provide a unique holster option for our customers. This 55BNHS “Professional” is a classic range and carry rig that works well for a variety of uses. It is comfortable and beautifully hand crafted. This model has been enhanced with hard-wearing horsehide leather, black shark trim and a subtle “FBI-style” muzzle cant to enhance concealability under a light shirt or jacket. There are only a small quantity available at this time.
Bruce Nelsons “Professional” is arguably one of the most copied holster designs in the industry (right up there with his model “Summer Special”), with literally every maker/manufacturer offering some kind of version of it. The “Professionals” heritage is characterized by the unique combination of a sewn tunnel loop and punched rear belt slot mounting arrangement that was designed to lever the butt of the gun in tight to the body. This was an important feature as Bruce originally conceptualized the use of the model “Professional” as a cross draw holster, but the design has proven to function equally well as a strong-side holster with the application of the proper cant.
Milt in his effort to further evolve the design, added a metal reinforced mouth-band (another Bruce Nelson design concept that was borrowed from his model “Summer Special”) to ensure long lasting rigidity of the mouth of the holster as well as the addition of sewn, full-length sight rails to protect the front sight during the application of the draw stroke.
*Note-hand molded leather holsters are often tight when new and usually require some break-in prior to use. We recommend letting the gun sit holstered with a heavy plastic freezer bag or wax paper around it. Sitting holstered overnight will usually reduce tension.

|This holster is extremely well built and crafted. Fit's snug against the body. Extremely tight fit on my thick 1 1/2" belt, but breaking in nicely. This finely crafted leather work will last many, many years. Badass holster for a badass gun|

|Outstanding quality, style and fit.||2/29/2020|
|Outstanding holster! The design holds it tight against your waste and the angle and fit are perfect. I owned more holsters than I care to admit. This thing is exactly what your EDC X9 needs. It’s comfortable and you will forget its even there. No issues with seatbelt, office chairs or anything. I just bought four more magazines today. And will be buying the magazine pouches and belt to go along with it next month. Wife found my recipe for the pistol. Lol....|

|Better Than I Ever Could Have Imagined||6/22/2018|
|I purchased the Milt Sparks for my EDC X9 and they both arrived together. The EDC fit perfectly the first time inserted into the holster. Minimal to no break-in time was required. It rides incredibly tightly to my body and is highly concealable. The weight is distributed very well. I also have some Mitch Rosen leather holsters of similar quality for Glock models 19 an 36. The fully loaded and locked EDC X9 actually feels lighter and rides more comfortably than my Glock model 19. My only ask is for Wilson to make available a matching magazine carrier. This is a quality holster that can be used daily and passed to generations to come.|

|QUALITY, HIGH RIDE HOLSTER WITH A PERFECT FIT FOR THE EDC X9||3/14/2018|
|This Milt Sparks holster exudes quality in both materials and workmanship. I didnt realize until receiving it that there actually is a Wilson Combat embossed logo on the shark trim. A nice touch. Not surprisingly, the EDC X9 fits perfectly, albeit, at first, a bit snugly. The plastic bag break-in worked well. In this holster, the gun rides fairly high, which I prefer. Initially, however, I would have given the holster 3 or 4 stars based on the guns carrying a bit top heavy with some wobble between the body and the grip. After further break in, using a sturdy carry belt and slightly adjusting the carry position, everything seems to have fallen into place. So much so that I am now awarding the holster five stars based on quality, fit, comfort, ride position and smooth draw.|
