The Wilson Combat M-Lok AR handguard system has been designed by our engineering team to be among the lightest, strongest and most versatile compact free-floating rail systems on the market.
Machined on 5-axis CNC machines from high-strength 6005A-T5 aircraft aluminum with a smooth Mil-Spec hard anodized finish, the rail handguard/interface and its robust mounting system won't sacrifice strength, stability or accuracy over bulkier designs. The oversize and tough nitrocarburized 4130 steel barrel attachment nut reduces heat transfer and the ergonomic handguard design offers a sleek, non-abrasive platform for comfortable dynamic shooting.
Our precision Eleven and One O’Clock M-Lok positions enable fast, easy mounting of multiple shooting accessories popular across the shooting industry.
In addition to a lighter, sleeker rail profile, the barrel nut design was retained from the original T.R.I.M rail to make it simple for users to easily swap the older Wilson Combat T.R.I.M rail design with this new M-Lok version.

Note: The hardened screws used in this handguard are tapered at the base to provide a flush, smooth fit. It is important that during initial installation that a small amount of grease is placed on the tapered shoulder of the screw to prevent screw galling against the softer rail. If a screw siezes and becomes immobile do not attempt removal, please contact Wilson Combat customer service for assistance at [email protected]

More shims, please | 1/19/2023 |
On my Colt AR-15, 9MM this installation was a bit of a challenge. I tried every combination of washers, twice, and couldn’t get the hand guard to index properly. I ended up taking a few thousands off of the Colt barrel washer, and even then, I had to torque it just right. It took a lot of trial and error, but I finally got it. Maybe my gun was just an oddball. Wilson makes the best parts in the world. But, Gosh darn Bill, give me a couple more shims next time. lol. Now that it’s on perfectly timed, the hand guard is really nice.

Needs improvement | 1/25/2022 |
Purchased two of these for a build, one came in with missing paint and aluminum exposed. Sort of a bummer, but all my Wilson finishes seem to scratch easy. Second the handguard chamfering doesn't line up nicely with the WC billet uppers. I have a flagship rifle from Wilson that has the older style handguard with 6 screws, and that design is superior in aesthetics and I'm guessing fitment. Like another reviewer said, 6 screw design is way more secure than 4. Wish Wilson would bring back the old handguard design!
