Base pads perfect for Colt Defender
These base pads work perfectly with my Wilson Combat 8 rd, full sized, 1911 magazines and makes them easy to use with my compact Colt Defender. I could have used the magazines as is with the original pads but these provide a positive stop for the magazine and prevent over inserting.

Helpful conversion
This base pad is a good way to comfortably utilize a GI capacity magazine on a compact frame weapon. Make sure you order the proper magazine for this base pad because the wrong one will leave some space between the top of the base pad and the bottom part of the weapon.
