These proven barrels feature a hand-polished bore and feedramps and then complete a rigorous final inspection process that ensures your new barrel will meet your most demanding expectations. All barrels feature crisp CNC markings, precision muzzle crown and a chamber and gas port optimized for reliability.
The 6.5 Grendel is a low recoil long range cartridge designed specifically for the AR-15 platform noted for impressive ballistics using .264 caliber bullets to make accurate shots out to 1,000 yards. The 6.5 Grendel uses a unique bolt and caliber specific magazine to convert any standard AR. With a wide variety of available factory ammunition, the 6.5 Grendel is a top choice for hunting medium game or extended range target shooting. Wilson Combat barrels use the industry standard "Type-2" Grendel bolt with .136" bolt face counterbore.

Wilson Combat AR Barrel Service Policy
Because of the nature of the AR parts business and varying pressures of commerically avaiable ammunition, Wilson Combat cannot guarantee function in customer built AR rifles. We recommend all components be installed by a competent rifle-smith.
If you assemble a firearm with Wilson Combat components and it fails to function, you first need to check the fit of the barrel to the gas block and the overall condition of your rifle's gas system/bolt carrier group to ensure your system isn't leaking gas. As buffers and springs play a role in overall reliability, the use of an aftermarket style buffer system is not recommended. When using an adjustable gas block, reliability is best achieved at the fully open setting without any gas port restriction.
Wilson Combat will not troubleshoot customer built firearms/uppers.
If you feel a Wilson Combat component is defective, please return the component only to us using our Return Form. Shipping to Wilson Combat is the responsibility of the consumer.

I bought a budget 24 inch upper and had crappy accuracy upgraded to this barrel and do not regret it one bit. Moa is easy to get with Hornady black. Looking forward to reloading for it. Killed a deer at 225 last week with this barrel

Extremely accurate barrel and I mean extremely accurate great service great prices you can’t beat this barrel constantly under three quarter-inch MOA at 100 yards 1 inch MOA at 200 yards
Barrel break in cleaning after each shot first five rounds I found one tiny flake of metal that's it. Fired 40 more rounds cleaned and very small amount of copper removal needed. 100 yard 50 round load testing over 2 grain difference in powder charges. Point of impact only moved about 1.5 inches over all. Easy sup moa groups with no effort. Could load this barrel for velocity if desired. Heat from 50 round shot test did not effect accuracy at all from what I saw. Last two groups fired both approx. .5 moa.
