Nearly two decades of building the finest custom tactical AR rifles have given us the insight to develop a comprehensive line of stainless steel, match grade barrels that offer superior accuracy, reliability, and longevity for your next custom AR rifle project.
All Wilson Combat Match Grade AR barrels are precisely crafted of the finest American-made 416R rifle rated steel on computer controlled equipment to our exacting list of technical specifications. These proven barrels feature a hand-polished bore and feedramps and then complete a rigorous final inspection process that ensures your new barrel will meet your most demanding expectations. All barrels feature crisp CNC markings, precision muzzle crown and a chamber and gas port optimized for reliability.
The 6.5 Creedmoor is a top choice of precision rifle competitors and hunters looking for the optimum AR-based extended range rifle cartridge. It makes ultra long range shooting an easy proposition and offers similar long range trajectories to a .300 Winchester Magnum with less felt recoil than a comparable .308 rifle. The high ballistic coefficient bullets loaded in the 6.5 caliber make this downrange performance possible because they have less wind drift and more retained energy than a comparable .30 caliber bullet at 1000 yards. When seeking the best extended-range shooting or hunting performance in an AR platform rifle the 6.5 Creedmoor is the logical choice. With a wide variety of quality factory ammunition available and .308 AR magazine and receiver compatibility, the 6.5 Creedmoor is in a performance class by itself.

Wilson Combat AR Barrel Service Policy
Because of the nature of the AR parts business and varying pressures of commerically avaiable ammunition, Wilson Combat cannot guarantee function in customer built AR rifles. We recommend all components be installed by a competent rifle-smith.
If you assemble a firearm with Wilson Combat components and it fails to function, you first need to check the fit of the barrel to the gas block and the overall condition of your rifle's gas system/bolt carrier group to ensure your system isn't leaking gas. As buffers and springs play a role in overall reliability, the use of an aftermarket style buffer system is not recommended. When using an adjustable gas block, reliability is best achieved at the fully open setting without any gas port restriction.
Wilson Combat will not troubleshoot customer built firearms/uppers.
If you feel a Wilson Combat component is defective, please return the component only to us using our Return Form. Shipping to Wilson Combat is the responsibility of the consumer.

|1/2 MOA Truck Gun!!||8/6/2021|
|I chose the 18" Tactical Hunter in 6.5 Creedmoor for a Lightweight all-around "Truck Gun" build in my go to caliber. I do alot of coyote hunting and where I live I can use my ATV and I have 2 other Wilson Combat Barrels so I know what they're capable of but they still surprised me with the amazing accuracy from this Lightweight Barrel. Even at 500yds from a bench I'm maintaining 1/2 MOA 5 shot groups with my handloaded 143gr ELDX on top of 45gr of Superfomance and still get avg 2788fps at the muzzle. I was going to change powder with the shorter barrel before testing but now if it's not broke don't fix it. Wilson Combat knocked this one out of the park again!! Great Barrel 👍|

|I own numerous wilson barrels for AR's and they all perform the same...naildrivers! I would not purchase anything but a Wilson barrel! Install it and shoot it, no breakin proceedures and they all shoot under inch groups without getting crazy reloading. In the 6.5 CM I shoot the Hornady 143 ELDX with H4350 and have 5 shot groups at 1/2" @ 100yds.|
