Nearly two decades of building the finest custom tactical AR rifles have given us the insight to develop a comprehensive line of stainless steel, match grade barrels that offer superior accuracy, reliability, and longevity for your next custom AR rifle project.
All Wilson Combat Match Grade AR barrels are precisely crafted of the finest American-made 416R rifle rated steel on computer controlled equipment to our exacting list of technical specifications. These proven barrels feature a hand-polished bore and feedramps and then complete a rigorous final inspection process that ensures your new barrel will meet your most demanding expectations. All barrels feature crisp CNC markings, precision muzzle crown and a chamber and gas port optimized for reliability.
The .260 Remington was designed to match the trajectory of the .300 Winchester Magnum with a softer report and recoil impulse. The .260 is one of the top choices for long range shooting at extreme ranges along with the 6.5 Creedmoor.

Wilson Combat AR Barrel Service Policy
Because of the nature of the AR parts business and varying pressures of commerically avaiable ammunition, Wilson Combat cannot guarantee function in customer built AR rifles. We recommend all components be installed by a competent rifle-smith.
If you assemble a firearm with Wilson Combat components and it fails to function, you first need to check the fit of the barrel to the gas block and the overall condition of your rifle's gas system/bolt carrier group to ensure your system isn't leaking gas. As buffers and springs play a role in overall reliability, the use of an aftermarket style buffer system is not recommended. When using an adjustable gas block, reliability is best achieved at the fully open setting without any gas port restriction.
Wilson Combat will not troubleshoot customer built firearms/uppers.
If you feel a Wilson Combat component is defective, please return the component only to us using our Return Form. Shipping to Wilson Combat is the responsibility of the consumer.

|I purchased the 24 inch version of this barrel, the Super Sniper and it is amazing. I have been a .260 fan for years. My 24 inch hold a consistent .5 inch group at 200 yards so it will be my new Deer gun from now on. As for the finish it is really beautifully done and the fluting is clean. I am extremely please with this barrel and wish they would bring it back. It out performs the 6.5 Creedmoor by a long shot and if you reload 308 Win. brass works perfectly and no trimming needed for the first couple reloads. And the .260 offers a greater selection of Projectile/load variations available than the 6.5 Creedmoor. I could not be happier with my Barrel and plan on getting the fluted 20 inch .308 Super Sniper and the fluted 18 inch 300 Hmr. Urban Super Sniper if and when they ever become available. I am definitely using Wilson Combat Barrels in all my builds from now on.|
