Machined from 7075-T651 Aluminum, this high quality stock adaptor will allow the use of any “mil-spec” style collapsible AR carbine buttstock and pistol grip on your 12 gauge Remington 870 pump shotgun.
This adaptor is easy to install and includes all necessary hardware to easily add a tactical buttstock to your trusty smoothbore. The addition of a collapsible AR stock allows the shooter to easily size the shotgun's length of pull to their individual needs while a vertical AR pistol grip gives added leverage during use and helps with recoil control when shooting heavy tactical loads.
Push button QD sling swivel sockets have been installed on both sides of the adaptor so adding a tactical sling to your shotgun is easier than ever. This adaptor is compatible with 12 gauge Remington 870 pump shotguns only.
Installation Instructions for Shotgun Receiver to Adjustable Stock Adapter
WARNING-Make sure your shotgun is empty with the action open

Remove existing buttstock.

Apply low strength thread locker to the supplied 3/16” allen head screw.

Slip lock washer over screw and install the adapter to the back of the receiver using screw and 3/16” Allen wrench. Tighten using firm hand pressure only.

Install the supplied castle nut onto the buffer tube with the castle nut lugs towards the rear.

Screw the buffer tube into the adapter, with 2-3 threads showing between the adapter and castle nut and center the tube using the set screw in the bottom of the adapter.

Tighten castle nut to approx 40 ft lbs of pressure or firmly tight using an AR Buffer tube wrench to secure the tube. For a semi-permanent installation you can use a low-strength threadlocker on the castle nut threads.

Install buttstock and pistol grip. This grip has been designed to work with most AR-15 pistol grips, but some sanding of the grip may be required for a seamless fit.
