| Although I do not have a WC 1911 yet, these beautiful grips have made me feel a little more at ease. The natural color of the Cocobolo wood goes perfectly with my Kimber Stainless II. I would highly recommend these to anyone seeking a classy and highly functional set of grips for their full size 1911. |

Get a Grip on these Double Diamond Beauties |

| I love exotic hardwood pistol grips, and Wilsons cocobolo double-diamond, checkered grips are works of art that are beautiful, durable and practical.
Cocobolo is my favorite exotic hardwood. Native to Central and South America, cocobolo is ideally suited for pistol grips because of its incredibly dense and extremely durable nature. Additionally, the coloration of this wood is often quite beautiful with varying shades of red, orange and purple. Cocobolo wood is also known for its magnificent texture and grain which can range from conservative elegance to museum-grade stunning.
To me, grips must do two things. First and foremost, they must provide the shooter with a solid and comfortable platform. These grips pass this test with flying colors. Secondly, they must accent the pistols character. In other words, they have to look gooooood, and Wilsons cocobolo grips shine like a full Kentucky moon. Whether your pistols frame is stainless, blue, black, grey or green, cocobolo is a rare type of wood that will enhance the beauty of any 1911.
Although there are a lot of cocobolo grips on the market, they are not all created equal. In order to bear the name WILSON, the grips have to be the cream of the crop, and this is exactly what Wilson gives you. Quality, durability and beauty are not simple descriptions; they are what you get with each and every pair of Wilsons cocobolo grips. If you are looking to dress up your 1911 with grips that will see you through any situation and do it with panache youve come to the right place. |

| Today is Valentines Day and I just got in my new pair of these Cocobolo grips. They are beautifully made and look great on my all black kimber. It stands out but in a nice discreet way. The texture and grip are just right. Looking forward to get a different pair of cocobolo grips. |
