300 AAC Blackout
The 300 Blackout (300 BLK) was designed by Remington/AAC to create a reliable, compact .30 caliber round for the AR platform that uses a standard bolt and magazine. 300 Blackout is optimized for suppressed fire with heavy bullet subsonic loads but can also be used with supersonic ammunition when extra range is needed. The 1-8” twist will work well for subsonic and supersonic loadings alike and there is typically no need for an adjustable gas block when switching back and forth between the two loadings.

|Walked to the range, sat down, fired 10 round, and walked out writhing 10 minutes. That was how good this barrel was. I am a precision shooter and my old barrel would require so much fine tuning in load to get pin point accuracy. This barrel on all 10 shots it was all in one half inch hole with store brought ammo!! I was completely blown away. The finish and quality is nothing I have ever seen before on any firearm I have own. Its almost too beautiful to shoot and that day I wasnt expecting to shoot that much nor was I expecting accuracy from a 300blk factory ammo. The barrel paired with a Wilson combat trigger made my was one inch grouping down to half inch. Not a single bur nor miss in quality anywhere.|

|I bought this barrel for a build and I dont know why anyone would spend any more or any less on another barrel. I dont think spending twice as much or a $100 less to save is worth it either direction. Spend the money, get the barrel, shoot in peace and confidence.
I cant speak for factory loads, but my hand loaded 125s, 150s, 165/168s, 180s, 190s, 208, and 220s all shoot wonderful. The recon barrel really loves the 125s, the 190s, 208s, and 220s. It has a very special affinity for 168s which would be expected in this caliber and twist. I did have to use A1680 to get the pressure high enough to cycle the 190s and 208s at subsonic suppressed. 125s group at .75 at 100yds and .6 - .7 for the subs at 100. We were even shooting sub 190s at 350 yds at Crows - its like a mortar shot, seems like we used a 40 MOA drop -- but it gets there.|

|10 Shots through what looked like 4 overlapping holes! I was very impressed with the accuracy of this barrel. This was at 50 Yards; its for deer hunting where we only go out to 60 yards due to tree cover. I was using a $100 Nikon 4x32 Rimfire, Upgrading scope and moving to 100 years next weekend just to what this barrel can do.|

|Easily Sub-MOA with handloads in 110 grain and 125 grain and it cycles both 220 grain subs and supers out of the box with no mods. I wasnt planning on using this caliber for accuracy shooting, but this barrel makes it so easy and it is too much fun!
The fit of my suppressor on the threads is better than any other barrel or adapter I own. Very well machined!|

|I bought this barrel about two weeks ago and just now got some time to shoot it. Im running a Multimount 9mm Gemtech with 16 300 Blackout barrel with Remington subsonic ammo, and it is extremely quieter then my 9mm pistol using 147gr.ammo. Im very happy with the quality and craftsmanship with this barrel and would recommend it to anyone!|
