Match Grade Barrel, .223 Wylde, Super Sniper, 20", 1-8 Twist, Stainless
Nearly two decades of building the finest custom tactical AR-15 rifles have given us the insight to develop a comprehensive line of stainless steel, match grade barrels that offer superior accuracy, reliability and longevity for your next custom AR rifle project.
All Wilson Combat Match Grade AR-15 barrels are precisely crafted of the finest American-made 416R rifle rated steel on computer controlled equipment to our exacting list of technical specifications. These proven barrels feature a hand-polished bore and feedramps and then complete a rigorous final inspection process that ensures your new barrel will meet your most demanding expectations. All barrels feature crisp CNC markings, precision muzzle crown and a chamber and gas port optimized for reliability.
.223 Wylde is a hybrid .223/5.56 chamber designed by Bill Wylde to yield the accuracy advantages of the match .223 Remington commercial chambering but without pressure or reliability failures when using high velocity 5.56 NATO spec ammunition. The .223 Wylde achieves better accuracy by having a chamber throat that is tighter than 5.56 but will still function reliably with military 5.56 ammunition as the case dimensions are the same.
Our Super Sniper is impressively precise and will turn your next AR into a true tackdriver appropirate for long range tactical or varmint shooting.
The heavy, bull profile is ideally balanced to maximize accuracy, enchance stiffness and quickly dissipate heat. Precision dish crowned and chambered in .223 Wylde for maximum accuracy. The Super Sniper is the most accurate barrel we offer.
Note: Requires a .936"/.937" Gas Block.

.223 Wylde Test Target
|Amazing barrel. Great fit. Mounted onto AR with a cheap scope. I didnt know my sight had worked loose, but still held 7 shot group smaller than a US Quarter @ 50 Yds. I will definitely use WC barrels on any build I do in the future.|

||Super Sniper indeed.
|I built this rifle for varmint hunting and shoot lighter weight bullets. The 1 in 8 twist had me concerned but I new from past shooting that Wilson makes best quality barrels. First group with 55 gr. Sierra Blitz Kings and IMR 8208 went under 1/4 @ 100 meters. Perfectly round 5 shots. It takes a fine bolt rifle to match that.|

|Built my 1st AR and used the 20in bull barrel, I am well pleased, hand lapped the barrel before installation, at 100 yards the bullet holes where overlapping with a 55gr Varmagedon handload, rifle was built for the wife, and she loves it, Thanks for a quality product...again :|

||Value and quality that is hard to beat at this price
|Just finished a build with this barrel. Topped it off with a cheap Burris 3-9 scope until my proper optic arrives. I shot 20 rounds of 55 grain through it while I got the scope dialed in. Switched to 75 grain Hornady and shot a 5 shot group at 100 yards with 4 holes touching under 3/8 and one flyer 1/2 to the left. This was done shooting prone off a bipod and flyer was likely my fault. I cant hardly way to get a proper optic on the gun to see what this build can really do.|
|Finally got a chance to shoot after building this barrel into an upper. Sighted in at 25 yards just to get on paper, then moved to 100 yards. First 3 shots were .5 with cheap Am Eagle 55 grain FMJ. Definitely an accurate barrel.|

||Cold Barrel/Sight In
|All shots are 3 round group: Gave the barrel a cleaning and headed to the range, sighted in at 25 yards, first shot cold barrel followed by two more rounds. Excellent results .25 group follow by 2 more groups of .25 each. Moved to 100 yds, 3 groups of .50 to .75 using over the counter PMC 55gr, would recommend this barrel.|
