Introducing the TTU, an all-new modular trigger unit that is easily user installed in any AR pattern rifle in less than 1 minute. Exclusive Wilson Combat engineering enables a durable, 4 lb., ultra-crisp trigger pull without any fine tuning or adjustment. Reduced, positive trigger reset guarantees a quick follow up shot on target. The unique hammer geometry enhances reliable ignition with military and surplus ammunition of all types while a 1911 style half-cock notch allows the TTU to meet or exceed military specifications for drop safety. Pre-assembled, CNC machined trigger housing contains H13 heat-treated trigger, hammer, sear and a stainless steel spring for trouble-free installation. Bullet Proof designed and extensively tested by shooters for shooters, the new Tactical Trigger Unit has raised the bar for drop-in AR triggers.
Wilson Combat AR-15 Tactical Trigger units will reliably function in any
standard USGI style AR style lower receiver with standard GI trigger pins of
.154” diameter regardless of caliber, including 7.62/.308 length AR receivers.
Colt brand
rifles made for commercial use between 1991 and 2009 will generally have a
proprietary trigger pin size of .169” and are not compatible with any Wilson
TTU.
Colt rifles
produced with pinned-in sear blocks are not compatible with any Wilson TTU.
Wilson
Combat TTU is not compatible with the Bushmaster ACR.
The MR556
and any other AR style rifle with a firing pin safety mechanism in the bolt
carrier is only compatible with the TTU 3G (TR-TTU-3G)or Two Stage Models
(TR-TTU-M2).
With .22 LR
AR conversions or complete .22LR caliber AR-pattern rifles it is
recommended that the standard single stage TTU (TR-TTU) or two stage TTU
(TR-TTU-M2) trigger be used along with high or hyper-velocity ammunition for
best reliability.
Because of the
short, fast reset of the TTU, always use a firm grip and solid hold when
shooting from the bench or prone to ensure that bump firing does not occur.
I am not mechanically inclined but I had no trouble installing this trigger. After installing on a Sig 716 my groups improved immediately. The trigger has half of the pull weight of the original trigger which is over 7 lbs. Looking forward to another trip to the range. It breaks clean and has no creep or overtravel that I can feel.

I have never had a trigger other than stock OMG this trigger is incredible, It breaks so crisp with very little effort, my groups are now less than an inch apart!!! highly recommend it.

I own several Wilson 2 stage triggers and I felt it time to comment. They are, simply, great. Easy to install and a gem within the rifle. I appreciate the simplicity and durability of the unit. Be confident in the fact that they user non-adjustable. They dont need to be. As perfect a product as Ive ever owned. Match it to a Wilson, or any other top quality barrel, and - simply - never look back.

Installed the TTU on my new Colt MP4 today. What a difference a good trigger makes and this is a great one! Easy to install with quality fit and finish. Buy one and watch your groups shrink. Far better than the factory trigger.

I just bought my first AR on a budget. My first upgrade was this TTU 2-stage trigger. After the ten minute installation, I headed to the range. Now, my groups are as tight as my range buddies with their high dollar ARs. Ive had it installed for a few months, and it performs like a champ. Worth every dollar. I have no regrets about this purchase.

A solid tactical 2-Stage

This trigger is setup on my 3Gun rifle and it is amazing. It is slightly heavier than my Jewel two-stage that I have on my high power service rifle ARs, but a Jewel trigger isnt tactical, the TTU is. Installation was rather straight forward, though I had to really push it down to get the lower pin-hole to align installation time: 5min.
The trigger design is absolutely superb. The trigger comes assembled and truely drop-in ready, while the design allows a reliability rate that would imho be mil-spec or above. There are a lot of triggers out there, but some designs increase the chances a malfunction if the gun is abused or used outside of normal range conditions. This trigger is a typical two-stage with a very brief take up, then a crisp break on the second stage. The Army Marksmanship Unit AMU guys that teach SDM at Ft. Benning use two stage triggers on their guns and for a good reason: two-stage triggers can improve your shooting. The two stage allows the shooter to place pressure on the trigger and time exactly when the weapon is fired. By having the initial pressure on the trigger you can eliminate the bump that can occur from going from no pressure to firing on a single stage. Rapid firing is fast as the trigger resets very quickly and catching the trigger will turn it into a single stage for rapid fire drills. I will say that I still get some trigger freeze trying to shoot more than 5 rounds of rapid fire. Pretty much I just need to time my trigger movement with my shooting speed. If your looking for a reliable trigger that has match grade performance this is the trigger for you.

I installed the Wilson TTU M2 in my AR15 a couple days ago, all I have to say is WOW!! It went in like it was made for MY AR. Installed, it makes shooting my AR like shooting a match rifle. A crisp break, like a glass rod breaking. No slop, no over travel, just BANG when I pull the trigger. Thank you Wilson for making a great product!!

This great product has it all! Fairly priced; easy to install. I needed to do the additional step of removing and reinstallation of the safe/fire selector lever on my DPMS AR-15 to complete the easy install. Great hunting trigger.

Great Trigger, Super Easy install, no problems. Ignites everything...the two stage has a short, smooth takeup that is super crisp with a strong reset. I like the fact that it is self-contained for cleaning and maintenance.
Great job WC! I feel like this trigger is a good value since I could easily install myself on the kitchen table!
