| Recently I purchased this back piece so that I could use it in place of a Kydex paddle that was on an Aker Flatsider holster for my 3.5 .45 ACP carry gun. The modification turned out wonderful! All I did was dismount the paddle on the Aker, press the Wilson replacement piece to the bolt holes, getting the proper cant I desired, drill the holes and mount it up. Perfect! I do own a Wilson P1 Practical that is slicker-than-owl-snot-fast and my Colt Government Model rides within it. On a side note: This replacement piece and the Tactical and Practical model holsters it attaches to is described as fitting a 1.5 inch belt. In fact, the belt slots are cut for 1.75 inch belts. Of course they will still work on a 1.5 inch belt. |
