"ICON" by Todd Rexford
When we saw the clean lines and crisp construction of Todd Rexford’s handmade
tactical knives we knew we had to collaborate with him on a Custom Alliance
piece. Todd’s use of leading edge materials coupled with a unique, modern style
has placed him squarely on any tactical folder collector’s top maker list.
Because of his painstaking, limited production and corresponding wait times,
Todd is well known to the top echelon of tactical blade collectors. We
are proud to offer these rare and beautiful folders we have named ICON to
reflect not only the rarity but also the unique, singular style that Todd’s
knives possess.
The ICON is a Titanium frame lock flipper with precise, hand crafted
construction and flawless fit that Rexford has gained an envious reputation for.
Your eyes will immediately be drawn to the smooth, contoured curves and 154-CM
hand-rubbed blade. The heart of the knife, the slightly recurved blade, rides on
an oversize bearing pivot and opens effortlessly with a snap of the wrist. The
robust frame lock construction can handle any pocket knife chore with ease.
Todd’s rendition of the Wilson Starburst grip pattern along with blue anodized
Titanium accent parts and pocket clip are just some of the details of this
attractive and practical work of functional art.

Todd Rexford
"My fascination with knives began as a young boy attending
numerous gun shows with my father. Every now and again I was
able to pick out a knife for myself and soon my collection began
to grow. As I got older, sport shooting, hunting, fishing, and
automobiles consumed my life. I went to work in my father's
garage and continued on to college in order to obtain my
engineering degree."
"After college I continued to work in the garage until I moved
out of state. It was then my fascination with knife-making
began. Starting with simple machinery and hand files (plus lots
of blood and sweat), I produced my first knife. From then on the
addiction was set in stone. I strive to learn and improve the
skills and designs I use on my knives with every piece that
leaves the grinder. New materials and procedures are coming out
every day and I take a lot of joy in learning everything
possible about what works, and what does not when it comes to
edged tools."
