Wilson Combat-Winkler Knives / Jason Knight Arkansas Toothpick Bowie
In collaboration with the craftsmen at Winkler Knives USA and the magnificent design skills of world-renowned bladesmith Jason Knight we are proud to introduce the WC-Winkler Knives Jason Knight Arkansas Toothpick Bowie made under Jason’s close supervision.
This high-performance combat bowie knife design is ideal for tactical or outdoors use. From the sculpted Micarta handle with a hand-tapered tang to the hand ground and sharpened Carbon steel blade, this big knife will perform at a level of high-end, forged custom blades.
Internationally known as a Master of the Tactical Fixed Blade Knife, Jason Knight’s designs are coveted by users and collectors around the world for their practical construction, superb grinding, and unequaled fit and finish. This Collaboration with Winkler Knives will give you the performance of a custom without the wait or cost of building a one-off blade. The Arkansas Toothpick is so well balanced it flows in your hand. The convex cutting edge and signature swedge is thin for performance cutting but will withstand the forces of tactical knife chores.
The incredibly rugged, 80CRV2 carbon steel is ideally heat treated to take a razor edge and hold up to extreme use. The Caswell slate gray “No-glare” oxidized finish is smooth and corrosion resistant and can be easily touched up with any cold-blue solution to keep your Arkansas Toothpick looking like new. A hand molded Kydex sheath is supplied. All knives are logo etched and serialized. We recommend a light coating of oil on your cutting edge to prevent corrosion.
Winkler Knives has built hard use combat tools for Special Forces teams worldwide in support of the GWOT. They are passionate about performance, quality, and value.
About 80CRV2 Carbon Steel
“Last year I did a full test on 80CRV2 and found it to be better than 5160, 1084 and 52-100 so I am in the process of changing all but the specialty models of both the knives and axes to the 80CRV2.”-Daniel Winkler, Master Bladesmith-Winkler Knives
