The Bill Wilson Signature Load is famous since it is the same load used to test our custom pistols. This 200 grain, hardcast lead semi-wadcutter offering is a reliable, accurate performer and makes an ideal target or field load. This load makes Major power factor and is ideal for the serious competitor or accuracy buff. This load is optimized for the 1911 platform.

| I ordered 500 of these for my Bill Wilson Carry 4 bbl. I just fired about 50 today.
This stuff is accurate. I noticed no smoke above the ordinary. My Senior Citizen eyes did OK at 10 meters 20 rounds in one big 2 inch hole and pretty good at 25 meters under 5 inch group. In my youth, I would have cut those 2 groups in half or less.
This is very easy to shoot. In rapid fire I was back on target quickly.
After I shoot up all my Full Metal Case 230gr, this will be the only ammo I shoot in this gun.
Nice big clean holes in paper.

| This load performed as advertised in my Commander sized Ed Brown & 5 inch Les Baer. Accurate and no malfunctions - thats what we all want. Recoil is noticeably lighter than 230 grain fmj. A very smoky round. Safety note - wash hands in cold water after use to reduce lead exposure. Two of five plastic boxes were broken in shipping. I recommend these rounds as very good range load. |
