Laser-welded
in the U.S.A. of the highest grade, fully hardened stainless steel, the
Service Mag Plus is a traditional GI 1911 magazine profile with several
important tube and spring enhancements for absolute reliability over the long
haul. The Service Mag Plus has uniquely shaped feed lips that enable
flawless feeding with 230 gr. FMJ and most popular jacketed hollowpoint loads.
The metal USGI-style follower will lock back the most finicky or fouled slide
stop and has a traditional top dimple placement to control last round feeding.
The heart of any magazine is the spring and this magazine features one that is
10% stronger than Mil-Spec. The extra-power music wire spring of the
Service Mag Plus will last considerably longer than standard springs and
improve reliability with a wider variety of ammunition than standard OEM
magazines.
