This is definitely the best 1911 magazine Ive used or handled. Sturdy design and high quality materials make this purchase worth every penny. The spring is quite stiff at first to the point where inserting a fully loaded mag took a lot of pressure. Well of course I checked it out before reading the enclosed product literature where it tells you to load the mag to full capacity and let it sit for a day. Now it slides right up and locks solidly into place. Ran 100 rounds of ball ammo through it without a problem! Thank you Wilson Combat!

what a great product.. i wont buy another magazine for my 1911 from anyone else again.. it sticks out the bottom a little further then some of my others but not enough to worry me any.. it loads JHP better then any other i have. and it just such a nice product.. i highly recommened this..
